What American philosopher said: “…yes we do have freedom of speech but there can be a lot of negative that comes from that too.”
What US Senator said: “I’m not an anthropologist, but I’ve studied history. And there is no case in history of a mongrel race preserving a civilization, much less creating one.”
What politician said: “These Negroes, they’re getting pretty uppity these days and that’s a problem for us since they’ve got something now they never had before, the political pull to back up their uppityness.”
What movie included this line: “It is interesting that of all the orchids in this place, you should prefer the epiphytics. Because, like the Negro, they need care and feedin’ and cultivating.”?
The pejorative that is absolutely reflexive for all leftists is…”Racist”. Criticize Obama and you are a racist. Point out the futility of trying to diagram a Maxine Waters sentence and you are a racist. Suggest that Blacks should be more “self-reliant” and you are a racist. It has been used so often that it has become meaningless largely because very few people can even define the term.
To set the record straight here is the definition of racism from Webster’s Unabridged Dictionary: “a belief or doctrine that inherent differences among the various human races determine cultural or individual achievement, usually involving the idea that one’s own race is superior and has the right to rule others.” For example, referring to Jews as “shylocks”, suggesting that Blacks are lazy or that white men can’t jump would be racist.
In the past racism has been incorporated into government policy. Slavery in the US impacting Blacks, the Nuremberg Laws in National Socialist Germany targeting Jews, the “Jim Crow” laws in the Democrat South continued the repression of Blacks after Emancipation and Apartheid Laws separating whites and Blacks in South Africa were all legally imposed racism.
Today, however, the term racist is misapplied to situations where there is an unequal outcome. It is the punchline to any discussion of “social justice” which is a term that defies definition except to demand equal outcomes. When specific acts of racism are not forthcoming the left now resorts to accusations of “systemic racism.”
But what is systemic racism and what is the evidence that it actually exists? Ponder the following:
Fauxchahontas Warren would, with the regularity of an unwanted season, decry something called “environmental racism”. Decades ago this term meant that many hazardous waste sites were located in or near poor communities. This argument quickly fell into disrepute.
Now we have a new environmental racism. Using the anthropogenic global climate change hoax as a cover the UN and a host of climate alarmists are working diligently to make sure that sub-Saharan African nations cannot secure a promotion from the third world. They believe that cheap, abundant energy will cause such third world countries to industrialize and start contributing the greenhouse gasses which are blamed for climate change. Hydroelectric projects like the 40GW Grand Inga Dam which has been proposed in the Congo would provide cheap electricity with minimal environmental impact. The vocal opposition gets all the headlines so the dam project gathers dust on the drawing boards. The victims are the Blacks who live in the area that would have benefited from the project and are left to deal with the soul draining poverty that might have been alleviated. Who is responsible for this “racism”?
Margaret Sanger, founder of Planned Parenthood, was a eugenicist and she was a strong advocate of birth control in the context of “racial betterment”. There is no evidence that she advocated forced abortions for Blacks but her legacy is a cornerstone of Democrat policy and to challenge abortion as a Democrat is to commit political suicide. In practice however it is the Black population that is most adversely impacted by legal abortion. It is not coincidental that 79% of the Planned Parenthood clinics are within walking distance of minority communities. It is, therefore, not surprising that while Black women comprise about 14% of the childbearing population they receive 36% of all legal abortions. It is almost as if it is intended. In fact the Black birthrate declined 29% from 1990 to 2010. Who is responsible for this “racism”?
The education establishment has, based on standardized testing, been uniformly ineffective. This has had a disproportionately adverse impact on minority students. Inner-city schools have a crippling impact on Black students in cities like Baltimore and Chicago. Failure to achieve minimal competence in math and language skills is a major handicap in the job market and the dropout rate for Black students is too high. In addition, affirmative action in college matriculation means many Black students are enrolled in colleges where they have no chance of being competitive. This results in greater failure rates, a loss of confidence and the perception that Blacks “can’t be educated”. This harkens back to Democrat policies in the antebellum South where it was against the law to educate Blacks. There appears to be no meaningful effort to address this failure to deliver a basic education for minority students. Who is responsible for this “racism”?
In 2008 we achieved what many thought might never happen…we elected a Black President. Obama was presented with an incredible opportunity. He might have bridged the racial divide and provided a powerful incentive to young Blacks to embrace the opportunities that exist in America. He not only chose to ignore the opportunity to encourage a healing but he managed to make it worse. Michelle Obama’s inflammatory statement about being proud of her country “for the first time in her life” set the negative tone. President Obama wasted no time in canceling a District of Columbia scholarship program that allowed thousands of minority students to access the best schools. He did nothing to address the epidemic of single parent households in the Black community. He embraced the “hands up don’t shoot” myth that was the Michael Brown case. His Attorney General forced police departments to sign consent decrees based on unproven accusations that they were engaged in racist practices. Obama suggested that if he had a son he would look like Trayvon Martin, a petty criminal. He supported the false meme that white police officers were engaged in a war against Blacks. Who is responsible for this “racism”?
There is a movement across the country to defund the police which is a response to the incorrect perception that the police are at war with our people of color. It turns out that minority communities are opposed to this effort because, as they have already seen, it is their communities that will suffer from reduced levels of law enforcement. Large cities are seeing a rise in levels of crime, both violent and non-violent. In Portland carjacking is practically an Olympic event. Who is responsible for this “racism”?
The last year that Black unemployment levels were lower than the rate for whites was 1930. What has changed? FDR imposed the first minimum wage in 1938. This drove many unskilled Blacks out of the workforce. Today open borders encourage the illegal entry of poor unskilled immigrants who take entry level jobs from our citizens. One study concluded that 20% of Black unemployment can be attributed to such illegal immigration. Who is responsible for this “racism”?
The Democrat Party fielded a large and diverse group of candidates for the 2020 nomination. The last people standing were two septuagenarian white men. Who is responsible for this “racism”?
Unemployment rates for Blacks reached the lowest level since statistics have been kept! Unemployment rates for teen-aged Blacks reached the lowest level since statistics have been kept! Unemployment rates for Hispanics reached the lowest level since statistics have been kept! Average income for the two lowest quintiles increased by $5,800. Enterprise zones have been established resulting in a huge increase in minority owned businesses. Who is responsible for this anti-racism? None other than Donald Trump.
What he has accomplished makes clear that whatever passes for systemic racism has been imposed on minorities in America by a self-serving, virtue signaling class of elitists who believe that the Black community is not capable of succeeding without the maternal protection of the left. It is time to call out these self-righteous “white supremacists” and encourage an exit from the Democrat plantation.

Things to think about:
In 1965 LBJ called for “population control” in third world countries, coincidentally countries that are predominantly populated by people of color. Racist?
Obama makes Narcissus look like Uriah Heap.
According to the “science is settled” crowd our existential so-called climate crisis is the result of the use of fossil fuels. Whenever you encounter one of these nincompoops ask them what caused the Roman and Medieval Warming Periods where temperatures were higher than they are now. Keep your phone handy and take a picture to memorialize the look of confusion that accompanies the destruction of their icons.
When confronted with inconvenient truths Obama makes a duck’s back look like Velcro!
Instant induction to a coveted spot on the ninth circle of stupidity: San Francisco wants to remove the name Lincoln from a public school because it turns out that our 16th President did not believe “black lives matter” on a personal level. Imagine the irony of saying that in Chicago!
Did you know that Trump dedicated a statue in Nicholasville, Kentucky honoring Black Civil War soldiers? You wouldn’t if you watch NBC, CBS, ABC, MSNBC or CNN.
Paul Ehrlich, celebrated haruspex, was always wrong but never in doubt. He wrote that “…giving society cheap, abundant energy at this point would be the moral equivalent to giving an idiot child a machine gun.” This is the very guidance that drives UN environment policy in sub-Saharan Africa!
Listening to Gavin “Ken Doll” Newsom reminds one of the sports headline following Dizzy Dean getting beaned in a baseball game: “Head X-rayed, Nothing Found.”
Obama in his latest vainglorious “biography” takes credit for the Trump economy. One can almost imagine him saddling up his economy snail and attacking the recession…worst recovery in US history.
Look up the term Mississippi appendectomy…surgery used to sterilize Black women without their consent in the 1920’s and 1930’s.

Sadly the US Dem’s standards of dealing with race relations are now copied elsewhere in the world. People who were welcomed to Europe from impoverished countries are now crying -paradoxically – racism.
I think the media is largely responsible for that- back to your earlier posts. Everything must be simplified to identity. It’s easier than deciphering merit of ideas and actions.

As always – brilliant. “The pejorative that is absolutely reflexive for all leftists is…”Racist”.” I think that sums this up nicely.

Awesome expose of the many truths behind the real racism in our history! Liberals, leftists and democrats have perfected the technique of “projection”.
