Answers at the end of the post;

Promises made, promises kept

In 2016 Citizen Trump promised to remove America from the list of lemmings that signed onto the so-called Paris Agreement. That Agreement, the cretinous child of the conjugal union between the UN and the WEF, was intended to “combat global climate change”. If taken literally there would no longer be four distinct seasons. Our withdrawal caused a thunderous hue and cry in foreign capitols, Davos and on both American coasts. It should be noted that despite the dire warnings of rising sea levels our former charlatan-in-chief, Barack Obama, bought multi-million dollar beach front properties in Massachusetts and Hawaii. Barrie…how long can you tread water?

After his upset win Trump focused on ensuring that there would be an abundance of energy to power the engine of progress. “Drill baby drill” was his mantra and in his second term we are looking at a rebirth of nuclear power…the cleanest source of power in our arsenal. The scaffolding of anthropogenic climate change is, like Humpty Dumpty, falling down. You want evidence…St. Greta of Thunberg, who was celebrated as the international chicken little of global climate doom, has now transitioned to the position of Admiral in charge of the royal navy of the Duchy of Grand Fenwick threatening to invade Israel. Next stop…campaign manager for Eric Swalwell.

Why did the champion of making America Great Again take on the task of repelling the climate zealots?

One of the many things that made America great was the decision by Alexander Hamilton, our first Secretary of the Treasury, to embrace the concept of free enterprise. His 1791 Report on Manufactures ignited the economic revolution that made America the envy of the world. It also made the US the target of the self-identified intellectual elite…people who cannot succeed in a merit based world.

So what, other than an allergic reaction to the hijacking of science, motivated Trump to pull the plug on the Paris Agreement?

Let’s review the bidding. In 1975 there were dire warnings of global cooling, a new Ice Age. Faster than Ilhan Omar made her multi-million dollar portfolio disappear global cooling became global warming. Then it morphed into global climate change, allowing for greater flexibility in dealing with things they couldn’t possibly predict, understand or control. In 2006 the poster boy for the Peter Principle published a book of fiction entitled An Inconvenient Truth. Almost immediately we were plunged into a dystopian world of vanishing ice caps, disappearing polar bears and climate calamity. Our former VP set the tone of the climate debate: the “science is settled”, there would no debate on the issues raised in his book and any and all who failed to embrace the climate alarmist zeitgeist were silenced and ridiculed as science deniers.

The Data

A wise observer once advised that one should not use data that he or she “had not personally manipulated”. Exhibit A is Michael Mann, the author of the so-called hockey stick graph that was a staple in every piece of propaganda distributed by the Democrats. the media and the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC). The hockey stick disappeared from the debate when it was discovered that actual temperatures in the ensuing years were dramatically lower than the future temperature projections the Mann “model” predicted.

Enter the Haruspices

Climate fearmongering included an endless series of predictions designed to instill fear among the unwashed masses, the entirety of the Democrat Party and graduates of Harvard. People living on the eleventh floor of buildings on Manhattan will drown! Cat 6 hurricanes will proliferate! We will suffer from either worldwide drought or epic flooding!..As Ralph Waldo Emerson noted: “A foolish consistency is the hobgoblin of little minds”. As most now realize not one of the fever swamp predictions has came to pass. It calls into question the predictive skills of graduates of Ivy League universities.

The Resistance Movement

It began with The Skeptical Environmentalist by Bjorn Lomborg, former leader of Greenpeace in Denmark. There is now available, for those of a curious bent, a wealth of literature that systematically dismantles the fraud that is anthropogenic climate change. The best of these books may be Heaven and Earth by Ian Plimer. Unlike Gore’s screed these are written by people who are credentialed and know of what they speak. Rarely can you find such literature in public or school libraries.

The climate crisis crowd has been continually predicting a veritable chamber of horrors, most imagined and always 15 to 50 years in the future. This just in: In 3167 there will be ocean waves lapping on the sandboxes of Cedar Rapids, Iowa! These scare tactics were nothing less than an attack on America’s economic success and free enterprise itself. It is all the fault of greedy, uncaring capitalists. It is designed to isolate America claiming that we are the principle source of CO2 which they believe, as an article of faith, is the sole cause of the cooling/warming, ozone holes and climate “extremes”. The fact that 7.5 billion people exhale CO2 everyday is seen as problematic. Some of the doomsayers have suggested, and not tongue in cheek, that the world population needed to be dramatically reduced. Such lunacy has united the petty potentates of the UN, WEF and the bureaucratic drones of the EU all of whom feel that they, and they alone, should be running the world..for our own good.

The UN charter includes some very interesting language about the objectives of that organization which can be used to justify their authoritarian instincts:

“To achieve international co-operation in solving international problems of an economic, social, cultural or humanitarian character. and in promoting and encouraging respect for human rights and for fundamental freedoms for all without distinction as to race, sex, language or religion.” Note that our First Amendment places religion first. It is, in any case, a catalogue of vapid platitudes worthy of an Obama teleprompter. Fear is a foundational element of the UN/WEF plan to take political control of the world’s population. They believe that the UN charter gives them carte blanche to micromanage the world economy.

And then along came Trump

Trump made clear in the 2024 campaign that climate change prophets of doom would soon be on life support. And we are watching his much denigrated prediction come true. Solar power is no longer the apple in every eye on Martha’s Vineyard. Wind turbines are being dismantled around the world. Rental car companies have discontinued the electric car option for lessees. Several major automakers have stanched the flow of blood and shut down their electric car production. The climate Karens have gone to ground.

The IPCC has issued a new and revised report that eliminates altogether the extreme predictions of climate disaster upon which all previous reports relied. It seems they were using erroneous information in generating the sturm und drang that set the tone of previous “findings”. It appears that climate change will follow DEI into the dustbin of history. Katie Porter’s daughter will be able to discontinue her therapy. Even Bill Gates has abandoned the foundering ship of Admiral Thunberg. In addition Gates is pursuing an expansion of nuclear power. Funny what happens when you divorce an AWFUL

The UN, the World Economic Forum and the mindless minions of Brussels must be in a state of crisis with the waning of the climate discussion. No doubt these organizations will not be diverted from their master plan…imposing a one world order on all of us. The pledge to Make America Great Again is a perpetual thorn in the paw of our future masters and it must, accordingly, be removed. It helps explain the urgency and intensity of the effort to destroy President Trump.

The principal tool of the denizens of Turtle Bay, Davos, Brussels and the faculty lounges of our colleges and universities is fear, fear of the future based on unsupported and unprovable threats. The entire edifice of the anthropogenic climate change hoax is unsupported by science which is anything but settled. Thanks to the Trump Administration the voices of Klaus Schwab, the IPCC, the EU puppet masters in Brussels and the mind numbed robots who gather annually at Davos to hone their moral preening skills have been muted if not silenced. A significant accomplishment!

Frederick Douglass once observed that our government overseers suffer from “the fatal poison of irresponsible power”.

What doesn’t kill you only makes you stranger…

On June 17th there will be a consciousness raising discussion of “menstrual equity” and Trans Period Pride at the Boston Public Library in Copley Square.. It will include a discussion of “period poverty”. Admission is free so if it is raining you will find refuge from the weather and reality. Robert Ripley was not available for comment. 1. Sadly, that’s how far “we” descended and I fear not much will change. For none are so blind as those who refuse to see.
