Throughout history those who sought to solidify their hold on power have gathered about them mindless street thugs to intimidate and terrorize the populace. During the French Revolution the Jacobins, the Sans Colettes and their mistress Madame La Guillotine, worked tirelessly to undermine the monarchy. In the 1930’s Mussolini had his Black Shirts and Hitler his Brown Shirts. These blindly obedient hooligans were available at a moments notice to organize violent rallies and protests in support of their authoritarian masters.
Unfortunately America in the 21st century has been victimized by the disruptive influence of politically naive malcontents. Today we live in an era of the flash mob. Ironically these “protestors” are allegedly “outraged” by excessive power being exercised by our government. In response to their fear and loathing of any authority exercised by President Trump these ignorant zombies embrace socialism and communism which they would be surprised to learn are built on excessive governmental power. Ignorance or stupidity…your call.
Many of the protests are merely intended to disrupt communities and inconvenience law abiding citizens. Take for example the No Kings protests that take place with the inevitability of an unwanted season, blocking traffic and denying people the right to walk on public sidewalks. And never once was there any evidence that King George III was in attendance. Maximum disruption on behalf of a childish delusion.
However the protests and the protesters have become increasingly violent. Young people believe that assassinating President Trump, Elon Musk and Supreme Court Justices like Brett Kavanaugh who have actually read the Constitution is a moral imperative. The murders of Charlie Kirk and Brian Thompson were the inevitable consequence of the inadequacy of our moral compass. The FBI was able to identify every Republican who used a cell phone within 50 miles of the Capitol on January 6, 2021, but Tyler Robinson, Thomas Crooks and Sophie Roske never even appeared on their radar.
We are routinely targeted by the Fascist Antifascists, aka Antifa, Black Lives Matter and the Leftist automatons on college and university campuses from coast to coast. This collection of pathetic losers materializes, as if by magic, at the scene of the grievance du jour. Malicious practices such as doxxing and lawfare have replaced the guillotine as tools to intimidate their opponents. Censorship is used to silence the distribution of information in order to ensure the merely misinformed become entirly uninformed. When they take to the streets they are invariably fully masked so identification is almost impossible. Do they not exercise their right assemble openly and without shame? Thus disguised they actually protest the fact that ICE agents wear masks. And when they are confronted with physical opposition they run screaming into the night like five year old children.
Let us review some of activities undertaken by our very own Leftist street thugs:
The Left monitors all activity at Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) facilities and they track the movement ICE agents whenever they seek to enforce the law. They use cell phones to direct protestors to any location where arrests will be attempted. The “peaceful” protestors arrive armed with guns, knives, motor vehicles and ignorance.
Mobs of bidiots show up at the court house to support the winsome and charming Lindsay Clancy who was merely practicing the art of post-natal abortion.
There were serial riots following the deaths of Michael Brown and George Floyd. On June 1, 2020, six days after Floyd died of a drug overdose the First Family was forced to retreat to the White House bunker during a Floyd induced riot near 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. Such riots are orchestrated by the likes of team Soros. The Soros henchmen deliver to the scene of these “spontaneous” confrontations large quantities of pre-printed signs. They also make available weapons, including frozen water bottles, to the assembled storm troopers. Luckily the protestors are not the least bit athletically inclined so these projectiles do little damage. At one event a rioter tried to throw a Molotov cocktail at the police but only managed to set himself on fire.
The most depressing of the acts of civil disorder take place on campuses across America. The best/worst example is the reaction of American “students” to the events of October 7, 2023, in Israel. The outraged ochlocrats chant “From the river to the sea” even though they can identify neither the river nor the sea. They accuse Israel of genocide for defending itself. The mindless mob demands the restoration of Palestine, the preservation of the unicorn and evidence of a coherent sentence uttered by Kamala Harris.
We must understand the make-up of these street provocateurs. It is readily apparent that they are not gainfully employed because they are available to hit the cobble stones 24/7. The vast majority are products of our public schools as they have no understanding of the issues about which they are so impassioned. On one occasion two senior citizens were carrying a very elaborate banner demanding that we “End the Kakistocracy”. An inquiring mind asked what the words meant and the two sign bearers were completely dumbfounded.
In addition many protests end sharp at Noon suggesting they are toting the bale for the Man. The “politically” motivated mob may, in fact, be motivated by capitalism. All of which begs the question as to who is financing the entire enterprise. Perhaps our lawfare Attorneys General, such as Letitia James, should stop searching for women who allege that Trump molested them in Bergdorf Goodman dressing rooms or investigating fabricated stories about gang rapes at prestigious universities such as Duke, Virginia and Cornell. Wouldn’t their legal efforts be better used to track down that source of the Protesters-are-Us paychecks. Maybe 10% of the effort expended following January 6. But as Lt. Frank Drebin might say…”Nothing to see here, move along”.
And lest you believe there are any independent thinkers in the protest movement think about this. How independent are the people that protest only in mobs? It was telling that Frances Fox Piven, of Cloward and Piven fame, was seen leading a group chant at one event. With Pavlov smiling somewhere the entire mesmerized crowd repeatedly chanted: “I am an individual”.
