Sticks and Stones

Pop Quiz:

Identify the election to which each quote applies:

“We have a president who stole the presidency through family ties, arrogance and intimidation, employing Republican operatives to exercise the tactics of voter fraud by disenfranchising thousands of blacks, elderly Jews and other minorities.”

It would involve: “Four crazy, contentious, chaotic months full of congressional commissions and Supreme Court justices — to find out for sure. And he has absolutely no idea that, after all of that, he will actually be declared the winner.”

“Concession means to say that the process was fair, but when I run an organization that in 10 days between election night and the night I refuse to concede we receive more than 50,000 phone calls for people who were denied the right to vote I am complicit if I say that that system is fair.”

“They stole it fair and square.”

“Surely there is a hypothetical scenario in which a U.S. president might be widely and rightly considered illegitimate. Perhaps the discovery of ballot boxes full of hundreds of thousands of fake ballots, which if subtracted from the vote total, would have swung the outcome.”

“(T)ens of thousands of citizens—thousands of them African-American— found themselves disenfranchised by misleading, faulty, and uncounted ballots, or inexplicably purged from the rolls.”

Answers at the end of the post.

The Ministry of Truth has made it clear that the mere suggestion that the 2020 election was not completely open, fair and transparent undermines our “democracy” (we are, of course, actually a republic) and smacks of insurrection. Yet we have a long, rich history of voter fraud and quadrennial shenanigans. Al Capone and Mayors Richard Daley and William Thompson, Chicagoans all, encouraged their fellow Democrats to “vote early and vote often”. LBJ won when the infamous ballot box 13 was “discovered” after the initial vote count favored his opponent. The Southern Democrats threw hurdle after hurdle in the path of Black voters…poll taxes, grandfather clauses and “intelligence” tests…a white registering to vote is asked to spell cat and gets full credit for “kat”. A prospective Black voter is asked to spell Czechoslovakia. (Suggested reading: Who’s Counting by John Fund and Max von Spakovsky which provides a cavalcade of historic voter fraud in the US)

Yet the Justice Department shows no interest in proving that the 2020 election was open, fair, and transparent. Any state that tries to conduct an audit is met with legal challenges from the state and Federal authorities. Mail-in ballots have been destroyed and electronic vote tallies are withheld. The snoring sound you hear is the somnambulant national media not responding to anything that might hurt their sock puppet president. They showed the same rabid disinterest when the, now authenticated, Hunter Biden laptop was discovered in October 2020. Yet following the 2000 election the media sponsored a number of recounts in Florida seeking to find the votes Gore needed to defeat Bush. I believe there were as many as nine such recounts and seven confirmed the Bush victory. (Suggested reading: Mollie Hemingway has written a wonderful book, Rigged, which provides evidence of rampant 2020 election fraud.) It is not hard to imagine that if Trump had won Pennsylvania, Georgia and Arizona we would still be hand counting every vote…real or imagined. Possible that even ballot box 13 would be sent in by the coach.

It is interesting that in 2020 the Democrats ensured that the Green Party (most would support Biden without this option) was kept off the ballot in Wisconsin and Pennsylvania while they managed to keep the Libertarian Party (most would support Trump without this option) on the ballot in both states. That alone might have swung those states into the Biden column.

But do not despair…Ultimately the truth will out!

All of which begs the question as to why the Democrats worked so hard to stuff the ballot boxes in key swing states. What is it that causes Trump Derangement Syndrome? How do they view Trump and his “deplorable” supporters?

Our political lexicon may offer some guidance. Here are some words that incite their base.

White Supremacy: “The belief that the white race is inherently superior to other races and that white people should have control over people of other races.” This was the cornerstone of the Democrat Party for about 150 years. “This is a white man’s country,” the Democrats claimed in their official Party Handbook (1898), “and white men must control and govern it.” You can easily find similar sentiments expressed by such Democrat stalwarts as Richard Russell, Theodore Bilbo, Woodrow Wilson, George Wallace and Orville Faubus. Remember that Joe Biden in 1977 said that “unless we do something about this, my children are going to grow up in a jungle, the jungle being a racial jungle with tensions having built so high that it is going to explode at some point.” It is nearly impossible to find any such quotes from Republicans, including Donald Trump, before, during or after his presidency.

White privilege: “Inherent advantages possessed by a white person on the basis of their race in a society characterized by racial inequality and injustice.” The genesis of the concept can be traced to 1988 when Peggy McIntosh wrote a paper called “White Privilege and Male Privilege: A Personal Account of Coming to See Correspondences Through Work in Women’s Studies.” One example she provides to address this runaway “privilege”: “I can be sure that my children will be given curricular materials that testify to the existence of their race.” How about: “I can be sure that my children will be given curricular materials that testify to the existence of gravity.” Earlier posts have noted alleged attributes of white culture such as: “objective, rational, linear thinking,” “quantitative emphasis” and “hard work, self-reliance, respect of authority” and “the nuclear family — father, mother, 2.3 children is the ideal social unit.” Imagine a society absent these attributes, e.g. CHOP/CHAZ in Seattle.

Cisheteropatriarchy: A made up word that appears to be an obsession with with (S)BLM, an organization that scrupulously avoids the use of accountants.

Microaggression: “A statement, action, or incident regarded as an instance of indirect, subtle, or unintentional discrimination against members of a marginalized group such as a racial or ethnic minority.” They say beauty or art is in the eye of the beholder, by which they mean that it is a matter of personal opinion. Microaggressions and criminal prosecutions in NYC are also a matter of personal opinion which should be studiously ignored.

January 6 “crimes”: US law would punish”anyone who corruptly, or by threats of force or by any threatening communication, influencing, obstructing, or impeding any pending proceeding before a department or agency of the United States, or Congress.” This is the most common criminal charge filed against the protestors on January 6. Examples of selective enforcement: (1) the conduct of protestors during the Kavanaugh confirmation hearings, to wit: outbursts in the Senate chamber, threatening Senators in their offices, Senate hallways and elevators and the presentation of perjurious testimony by a witness…no charges filed; (2) pursuing Senator Sinema into a bathroom and filming and recording her therein and threatening Senator Manchin during the “debate” on Biden backed legislation…no charges filed. Apparently impeding and obstructing are in the eye of the beholder.

Authoritarian, as in Trump has “authoritarian” instincts: “favoring or enforcing strict obedience to authority, especially that of the government, at the expense of personal freedom.” This accusation is usually bandied about by Democrats who support shutting down schools, mandatory vaccinations, mask requirements, vaccine passports, absolute control over school curricula without regard to parental input, abolition of gasoline powered vehicles, including lawnmowers…to name but a few of their authoritarian wet dreams. Trump, on the other hand, eliminated thousands of governmental authoritarian regulations. As Chris Plante says: the left doesn’t care what you do as long as it is mandatory!

Schools should apply critical thinking to these issues.

Things to ponder:

Is Jill Biden to second coming of Edith Gault?

When irate citizens appeared at the Michigan legislature to protest the policies of their authoritarian, intellectually challenged Governor Gretchen Whitmer the police stood down and let them enter the building. Was that an insurrection? Note that the Capitol Police also stood down on January 6 and the protestors were allowed to enter the Capitol. This can be seen clearly on video in the area where Ashli Babbitt was assassinated…the police left the area right before the shooting. Procedure or negligence?

In 1992 the Catholic Church reversed the conviction of Galileo which occurred in 1633. To save you doing the math that is a gap of 359 years. The over/under on Fauci admitting he was wrong on Covid is 359 years…our advice is to take the over.

This just in…the Loudoun County (VA) School Board is getting out ahead of the curve: As the obvious result of global warming will be a dramatic rise in the seas all children in Loudoun County public schools will be required to wear inflatable life vests while on school property, in addition to face masks. Punishment will be swift and harsh. An ounce of prevention…

We need to develop a plan to ensure that we can achieve climate equity (definition required). Step one: acknowledge disproportionate impacts from climate change and how those are rooted in the historic and systemic oppression of Black, Indigenous and Poor communities (interpretation required). Step two: Identify what constitutes the best climate. Nine of the ten coldest climates are countries that are predominantly white…how do we change that? Remember more people die from cold the heat. The ten hottest climates are countries that are populated by people of color…how do we fix that? You can bet that the lily-white Laplanders would like some climate equity. Please send Senator Fauxcahontas Warren your ideas for achieving “climate equity”.

Barrack Obama once lamented “highly credentialed, high IQ morons”…was this comment inspired by one of his cabinet meetings? Although the IQ point is called into doubt by the presence of John Kerry!

President Houseplant has managed to assemble the most inept, least qualified cabinet in US history…a true carousal of incompetence.

  1. I would not be surprised if your Brycisms would actually materialize ….”Loudoun County public schools will be required to wear inflatable life vests while on school property”

  2. Great summary of words that incite (and excite) the left. You may have been restricting your overview to single words, but I believe no such list (that addresses the post Clinton era) is complete without the inclusion of “Follow the Science”, a leftist mantra that has made total control over the minds of their sheep possible, in the two major issues of Climate Change and COVID 19.

    P.S. My quiz score was 2/6. 2020 and 1960.
